Warehouse Management

The Warehouse Management process helps users maintain warehouse information and manage the movement and availability of inventory across warehouses. It supports accurate stock control for purchasing, sales, production, and inventory operations.

Warehouse Management Process

1. Maintain Warehouse Information

Maintain the required warehouse records with accurate warehouse names, codes, locations, and other applicable details.

2. Review Warehouse Stock

Use the Inventory Overview to review the stock available in each warehouse. Verify item quantities and identify unusual or incorrect balances.

3. Manage Stock Transfers

Use Inventory Transfers to move stock between warehouses. Select the source and destination warehouses and record the items and quantities being transferred.

4. Record Inventory Adjustments

Use Inventory Adjustments to record approved changes to warehouse stock quantities. Enter the affected item, quantity, warehouse, and adjustment details.

5. Monitor Production Movements

Review material issued from warehouses for production and materials received into warehouses after production. Verify that the corresponding quantities are correctly reflected in inventory.

6. Verify Warehouse Stock

Regularly compare warehouse stock balances with the recorded inventory transactions. Review transfers, adjustments, material issues, and material receives to identify discrepancies.
