The Daily Production Process manages day-to-day manufacturing activities in the system, from creating production requirements through material issue, production processing, and finished material receipt. It helps users track production activities, material consumption, and completed production.
Production Process
1. Create Manufacturing Order
Create a Manufacturing Order (MON) for the items that need to be produced. Enter the required item, quantity, production activities, warehouse, and other applicable production details.
2. Plan Production Activities
Review the Manufacturing Order and identify the activities required to complete production. Assign the relevant activities and vendors where applicable.
3. Issue Materials for Production
Issue the required raw materials against the Manufacturing Order using the Material Issue process. Record the items, quantities, warehouse, and other applicable details.
4. Process Production Activities
Carry out the required production activities according to the Manufacturing Order. Update the production progress and activity details as the work is completed.
5. Receive Produced Materials
Once production is completed, record the finished or processed materials using the Material Receive process. Enter the received items, quantities, warehouse, and other applicable information.
6. Verify Production Details
Verify the Manufacturing Order, material issues, production activities, and material receipts to ensure that the items, quantities, and production details are accurate.
7. Update Inventory
After the material receipt is completed, the produced quantities are added to the relevant warehouse inventory. Issued raw materials and received finished materials are reflected in the inventory records.
Production Reports
The production process can be reviewed through reports such as:
- Order Production Status – Provides the production status of sales orders and their related activities.
- Material Issues – Production – Displays materials issued for production.
- Material Receives – Production – Displays materials received from production.
- Material Issues & Receives – Job Order – Provides material issue and receipt details associated with job orders.
